A ski holiday is the perfect tonic for the long, dark, cold winters that we experience in Ontario! We just spent a fabulous week with good friends - chasing away our winter blues on the slopes.

When you have all day to spend outside, its the perfect time to treat yourself with a nice break at noon and enjoy a long lunch, outside, if possible. We enjoyed a great raclette lunch on our coldest ski day. We had so much fun, and are working on some grilling recipes to try to replicate the "raclette experience!"

When the skies are so clear and the temperatures start to rise, eating lunch outside becomes the highlight of the day!!
Speaking of highlights, we decided to celebrate Doug's birthday one night, - Oh! What a night!!

grilled beef tenderloin and fresh salads.
